I am absolutely in love with the beautiful Pompom’s. It’s a sparkling party item to use give colour to every room and hip party! In summertime they float in the wind on your gardenparty, and in fall the typical fall colours make the fall atmosphere complete next to your fall tea and candles. In wintertime the white and turqoise look like brilliant snowballs and give christmas a nice atmosphere. Winter coats
I’m not completely sure if it’s smart to write about Jijwel.nl today, because there is a big chance that all the nice winter coats will snatched away before I can get them. I haven’t decided which one I would like to buy for my daughter Sterre, I saw so many different nice ones. They have super coloured ones, red with white dots, but also cute with flowers or cool. So they basically have something for every one. Cool, hip or cute, Jijwel.nl has it all. Some of those cool winter coats are even on sale right now! They might be last years collection, but who cares, if they are cool, they are cool. I also saw a really nice one for Yuren, but unfortunately not in his size. So I will have to keep on looking for his new wintercoat…

I already was a fan of the last edition but these are even nicer. It’s great because you can make them yourself, you can fold the ready-punched parts in or outside. Hopsan is working hard. This company specialises in making babyclothes that are good for our planet. The most used raw material is biological cotton. This cotton grows with natural elements. They don’t use pesticides or artificial manure. The knitted clothes from Hopsan are made on Shima Seiki machines. These machines can make products without seems and without wasting threads. That doesn’t just sound good, it actually is! Besides doing good, the clothes from Hopsan are truely hip. Bright colors, nice cuts. There is a lot to tell about these special candles from the USA. First of all because I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that a beautiful charm was hidden under the lid. A gift within a gift, so to say. Wonderful! Second of all the candles burn for 70 to 120 hours and are produced in an ecological friendly way. They are not tested on animals and the paper that they used is colored with a natural pigment and are full of seads of wild flowers. The package has been chosen with care. This is how it works: put the paper in some water for a night. Cover it with a thin layer of potting soil and keep it humid until the sprouts appear. After 1 to 2 weeks the flowers wil start to grow. Dry shoes
I have to admit, I was laughing at this schoenendroger (shoedryer) when I saw it for the first time. I didn’t get the function directly. Don’t you just put your wet shoes on the heater? Ok, I have to admit, I changed my mind. Because a shoedryer is useful! We put it in our storeroom. That’s also where the kids enter the house when they played outside. We have a beautiful garden and now the weather changes to wet and cold, Sterre often enters the house with wet shoes, because she played on the wet grass. I used to put the shoes on the heater to dry, but since I own a shoedryer, I don’t have to anymore. I put the hoses in the shoes and put the dryer on. It saves time, because they are dry in no-time! And my daughter loves putting her shoes on after they are dried, because they feel nice and warm on her feet. So I often use the dryer as a shoe warmer. It’s great on cold winter days. The shoedryer is multifunctional and looks good too.

Cozy lights
I love cosiness. Especially now the days are getting shorter and darker, I light candles and turn the heating a little higher. Close the curtains just a little more, get a nice hot cup of tea or even a enjoy a glass of wine.
